Did you forget about us? We loved the Monterey County Fair and had a great time, but we missed you since it will have been six weeks between our Monterey Skates weekends! The good news is we’re gearing up for our next opening weekend, which kicks off Friday, September 12and runs through Sunday.
The fun begins with Friday Family Skate (5–7pm), followed by Friday Open Skate (7–11pm). On Saturday morning, the little ones take center stage for Kids Skate (10am–noon), followed by our expanded Kids Skating Lesson (12–1pm), where Scarlett will return to introduce some exciting new skills. The weekend continues with Saturday Afternoon Family Skate (1–4pm), Saturday Family Skate (5–7pm), and Saturday Open Skate (7–11pm). Then on Sunday, join us for **Family Skate (1–4pm)**and cap off the weekend with the return of Pop & Hiss DJs spinning at Night Glide (7–11pm).

Skate Mates to Assist New Skaters
We’ve recently introduced **Skate Mates (skate trainers)**to help new skaters get rolling. While some rinks debate their use, we don’t have a railing around our floor, so Skate Mates are a helpful option. They’re available to rent for just $10 per session.
Announcing Fundraisers and Corporate Events
We’re also excited to announce new ways to bring your group to the rink. School and non-profit fundraisersare now available, offering a fun, active way to raise money while building community. Smaller groups (under 75 people) can host their fundraiser during a regular session, while larger groups can book a private party. In addition, we’re rolling out corporate team building events—a chance for your company or organization to combine the fun of roller skating with a relaxed, energizing environment that builds connections and boosts morale.
