A Community That Supports Skating
Recently, someone on Nextdoor asked why Monterey doesn't have a roller rink anymore—and the response was overwhelming. More than 100 people jumped into the conversation, and to our surprise, many of you shared Monterey Skates with the community! Seeing strangers recommend our pop-up rink and rally behind the need for roller skating gave us so much motivation. Thank you for your support—it truly means the world!

Mark Your Calendars: Opening Weekend is June 20-22!
We are officially launching our first pop-up roller skating weekend at the Monterey County Fairgrounds – King City Building on:
Friday, June 20th – Evening Family Skate
Saturday, June 21st
- Morning: Young kids & beginner-friendly session
- Afternoon & Early Evening: Family skating
- 8PM - Late: 18+ Adult Skate Night 🎶
Sunday, June 22nd – Afternoon Family Skate
For now, we'll be open one weekend per month, but if demand is high, we can expand to more weekends! If you want to see more opportunities to skate, let us know!
